Rachel Fenwick studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2014. She was shortlisted for the Young Cumbrian Artist of the Year awards in 2016 and has since been juggling being an artist whilst maintaining full time employment. She’s an artist inspired by the places you call home. Her work ranges from contemporary sculpture, to beautiful watercolours, plus mixed media paintings in acrylic, collage and household paints. Originally from Lancashire she now lives in Bristol. Inspired by Bristol’s beautiful homes, she explores the exterior of these humble buildings. It not just the physical building the artist challenges, but the location in which we choose to settle too. Following the footsteps of her own life, she queries how we’ve come to be in our corner of the world.
